Abstract

To address the changes brought on by the globalization era at the personal and professional levels, the field of education in general and that of languages in particular are constantly evolving. For education to be relevant in today's globalized society, it must change and evolve. In the current digital society, integrating and utilizing information and communication technologies (ICT) is one of the priorities of the education community.

Developing digital practices in language classes is now essential in order to meet the demands and challenges of the globalized world. The goal of learning a foreign language is to prepare future global citizens who are not just open to other languages and cultures, but also... To that end, the adoption of ICT in language instruction appears to have evolved into a requirement for the modernization of the educational landscape and instructional strategies.

In this paper, we will first look at how ICTs can help with language instruction. The presentation of a "language training center" in an Algerian university, where ICTs are an essential component of the teaching practices, will take up the majority of the second section and allow us to gauge the influence of new technologies on foreign language learning and instruction.
