The building phase, which employs about 100,000 people, and the operational stage, which employs up to 60,000 people, both take a significant amount of labor to produce. In order to welcome KIHI and KIPI, North Kalimantan must prepare its people resources, one of which is done through Vocational High Schools (SMK). Instruments are required to measure leadership, cooperation, commitment, self-confidence, motivation, and student initiative because these are non-cognitive skills and work attitudes that vocational high school students must have in order to meet the demands of business and industry during the recruitment process for prospective workers, positive work attitude will help individual career success. The study consisted of three scenarios: 1) K4MI construct exploration, 2) K4MI scale construction, and 3) identification of psychometric properties. The analytical method used in the first scenario is qualitative, while the second and third scenarios use quantitative methods. The data collection technique is a personality inventory and a typical performance test, namely a Likert scale consisting of favorable and unfavorable items. The research sample was selected by simple random sampling as many as 300 students of Vocational High Schools in North Kalimantan. The data analysis used consisted of validity and reliability tests using SPSS. The results of the validity and reliability tests found that of the 61 items consisting of aspects of Leadership, Cooperation, Commitment, Self-Confidence, Achievement Motivation, and Initiative (K4MI) 52 valid items were obtained with a value of > 0.20 and reliable with a value of > 0.61.
Ahsan Sofyan Riski Sovayunnato Siti Rahmi Zainal Abidin Muhja Suhartini Azis Anwar Copyright (c) 2023 2023-05-16 2023-05-16 18 59 70 Assessing the Impact of Competition on Improving the Efficiency and Quality of Services in the Service Sector http://sjii.indexedresearch.org/index.php/sjii/article/view/839
Timely adaptation of enterprises to the competitive conditions of the unstable and changing external environment should be carried out in the process of evaluating the effectiveness of its use based on a comprehensive and continuous analysis of the activities of competitors, their strategic potential.
