Abstract
This article explores strategies for enhancing speaking competence in English for Specific Purposes (ESP) classes. It emphasizes the importance of creating an interactive learning environment, utilizing task-based learning, authentic materials, technology, and effective assessment and feedback. Additionally, it highlights the significance of learner autonomy, cultural and intercultural competence, collaborative learning, and continuous professional development. By implementing these strategies, ESP instructors can empower learners to communicate effectively in their specialized fields, promoting language acquisition and communicative competence.
